This session will be an informal discussion which will support LGBTQ+ youth and address the challenges they face in New Mexico today. Allies are welcome to attend, to support, and learn with their LGBTQ peers.
About the Presenter
Joining his school's GSA club at the age of 13, Christopher Allers has been involved with LGBTQ+ justice work for his entire young adult life. Now, at 25, Christopher is the Program Coordinator for the NM GSA Network and a certified Transgender 101 Trainer. He was born and raised in Albuquerque, a graduate of Albuquerque Public Schools, and loves New Mexico and his 2 year old beagle, Sirius, with all of his little trans heart.
